A proper room shaped around your garden

A basic outbuilding rarely solves an awkward space problem. You need the right footprint, useful daylight and enough room for the furniture or equipment that will live there. We design bespoke garden rooms around how you plan to use them, from focused work and exercise to hobbies or quiet family space. In Falkirk, we assess the available plot, privacy, access and relationship with the house before settling on the layout. Doors, windows and storage are placed with a purpose, not added as an afterthought. We then take the project through site preparation, the main structure, internal fitting and the finishing details, giving you one clear route from the early brief to a room you can use.

Plan comfort before the first timber is cut

The best time to decide on sockets, heating, lighting and cable routes is before walls are closed. We discuss these details early, along with insulation, ventilation and the level of internal finish you expect. This avoids a desk covering the only useful socket or glare landing exactly where your screen needs to go. We carry out the core joinery and coordinate plasterers, electricians or other trades required by the agreed specification. Access for materials and working space also forms part of the plan, helping the build move in a sensible order while we remain accountable for the complete project.

Frequently asked questions

How do we decide the right garden room size?

Start with the room's intended use, furniture and clear walking space. We then compare those needs with your available plot, access and window positions. Approximate dimensions and photographs help us begin, but accurate site measurements guide the final design.

Can the room be designed for use all year?

Yes. A year-round room needs a suitable specification for insulation, heating, ventilation, glazing and internal finish. We discuss how often you'll use it and what happens inside, then plan the build around the comfort and services required.

Who coordinates the extra trades on the build?

We manage the project and bring in trusted plasterers, electricians or other required trades according to the specification. Their work is planned around the main build so that cables, finishes and fittings are completed in the right order.
